Do you play in an actual band or do you just play at sessions? If you play in a band, do you have a website for your band? With tunes we can listen to?

I don't go often enough... I keep travelling.

Tue, September 21, 2004 - 10:22 PMI used to do both when we lived in England. When we moved to Austin, I played in a band called Southwind. Since we moved to San Diego, I haven't done much...but I have an audition with the Celtic Ensemble on Saturday (I play fiddle and sing). Not much in the way of real sessions here in SD -- lots of downtown bars have Irish groups that masquerade as sessions, but they aren't open...

Currently play in Woodland, an original celtic/folklore band in Oregon. We've got mp3's up at: www.woodlandmusic.net/pages20...sic.html
I'm also working with a part time pick up band called The Bottle Alley Buskers, mainly doing trad stuff for fun and profit. We've just done a bit of recording, but it's not up anywhere just yet.
